The start of 2012 has been really busy. My Husband and I were able to spend a few days away. Very close to Lake Michigan. In a city called Ludington. Its by far one of my favorite places. Lots of reasons but loving our lakes as I do here. Lake Michigan is my favorite.
We spend three day there and walked a lot..Yes walking near the lake and the trails in the State Park. It was like spring here. Well in to the 40's and low 50's. Which was so odd for January. We saw a lot and I was able to really walk and stick to my plan of walking daily. So I was happy about that.
Also got to use my new DSLR Camera. Which I got from my Hubby as a gift for Christmas. Trial and Error..for now but we did fine...:) These are a few of my favorites!! Love the little smile on his face!!
We came back on the heels of a storm. Knowing as well that Mom was going in for possible surgery on her knee...She did and all is well. So thankful!!!
So I am heading off to get some rest. Doctors appointments for Mom in the morning. Unless we get snowed in...Doubt that is happening.
Just getting over whatever this crud is..that is going around...So hoping its all good in the morning. I have been good to take the meds I have and things are much better!!
Sighs....Wish we were was back on the beach!!!
